Inductive sensors
Inductive sensors are capable of detecting metal objects in a non-tactile and wear-free manner. To do this, they use high-frequency communication electromagnetic fields to interact with their targets. Their strengths are durability, robustness, high switching frequencies, and long service life. Thanks to the special coil concept, the UPROX offers high switching intervals with an attenuation factor of 1 for all metals, making the installation simple and safe, enabling the desired safe operation right from the start.
Photoelectric sensors
Photoelectric sensors and systems use visible red or infrared light to detect different types of objects without touching them or being bound by their material, quality, and consistency. Whether it's a specification or a programmable multi-function, a compact device or a device with peripherals such as an external amplifier, each sensor has a special function that is specifically designed for the application – and you will be provided with a comprehensive range of photoelectric sensor solutions.
Capacitive sensors
Capacitive sensors are detected in a non-touch, wear-free way. Capacitive sensors are used to detect metal (conductive) and non-metallic (non-conductive) objects without touch and wear. The level of liquids and bulk goods is monitored in the same way. In addition to positioning detection, Turck's capacitive sensors can also be used for overflow detection, leak detection and perhaps for pump idling maintenance.
Magnetic inductive sensors
Magnetic inductive sensors are used to detect magnetic fields and are particularly suitable for detecting the piston orientation in cylinders. Thanks to the electronic operating principle, our magnetic field sensors detect permanent magnets of various intensities on all common cylinder pistons. The sensor is wear-free, short-circuit maintenance, rugged and IP67 protection. We are also able to supply products for welding areas and explosion-proof areas, as well as analog output sensors.
Ultrasonic sensors
Ultrasonic sensors detect large targets through non-touch, wear-free ultrasonic waves. Whether an object is transparent, metallic or non-metallic, liquid, solid or powdery does not affect its operation. Our ultrasonic sensors are available in a variety of different plans, detection scales, sound wave angles, and output types for users to choose from. Most of them have temperature compensation, noise suppression, and marshalling cables for automatic synchronization.
Linear displacement sensors
A variety of sensors can solve the measurement path. The inductive linear displacement sensor uses an innovative measurement principle to detect in a non-touch and wear-free way: the azimuth detection is not through the azimuth magnetic block but through the oscillation circuit of the electrorational RLC. The portfolio includes hysteresis elastic linear displacement for bearing monitoring of hydraulic cylinders, which can also be measured with encoders or rope sensors.
For lengths of up to 40 meters, the path information is transmitted to the higher-level controller in a highly accurate and dynamic manner via digital and analog interfaces
encoder
Reliable monitoring of rotational speed or detection of rotational bearing, orientation, and viewpoint – encoders (also known as: rotary encoders) can be used for a variety of industrial measurement tasks. The comprehensive product range offers users a wide range of products, such as hollow shaft and solid shaft equipment, as well as types with thorough non-touch and wear-free detection. Whether you need a high-efficiency encoder for specification applications or a high-quality encoder with IP67/IP69K protection for use in harsh environments, Turck is ready to help you select the sensor for your ambitions.
Inclination sensor
The rugged Q20L60 and Q42 series inclination sensors are capable of detecting almost any inclination angle, and together they can be used in fast-moving and oscillating systems. Our supply viewpoints are ±10°, ±45°, ±60° and ±85°, and we can also flexibly set the measurement scale 0... The following output variables are selectable: 4... 20 mA, 0.1… 4.9 V, 0… 10 V, PNP/NPN , NC / NO contacts, IO-link, CANopen.
Pressure sensors
Pressure is one of the most commonly measured parameter values in the industrial sector. Whether it's a press, a cooling circuit or a storage tank – everywhere you see pressure parameters that need to be monitored and measured. Turck's comprehensive portfolio of pressure sensors offers a wide range of solutions for industrial and mobile applications. With a wide range of process adaptors and output signals and a wide range of pressure scales, you will find an ideal sensor for any application. The pressure sensors of the PS510 and PS310 series with their intelligent IO-Link function are the aspirational choice for Industry 4.0.
Temperature sensor
The new series of TS+ temperature sensors ensures reliable and reproducible measurement of process temperatures in industrial applications. Many different scales and process interfaces offer a variety of options to be implemented for most applications without any problems. In addition to the compact temperature sensor, the compact profiling and display device can also be connected to a separate temperature probe. These devices support and recognize virtually all standard industrial temperature probes, such as resistance thermometers or thermocouples, in a fully automated process. Without mechanical control, the stainless steel housing is minimized. The number of sealing surfaces has been reduced, and moisture and dust can be prevented from entering the equipment to the greatest extent. All in all, the TS+ series of temperature sensors offers customized solutions with simple programmability, flexible process bridging and displays, and robust planning.
The TTM/TTMS series includes a number of compact sensors, available as a one-piece with an integrated probe or as a split with M12 connection. The T-Gage infrared sensors offer a touchless way to measure temperatures up to 300 °C, and the TP series is available in a variety of lengths and diameters as part of the TURCK product family of temperature sensors.
Flow Sensor/Flow Meter
Traffic alarms
Flow detection is a process that requires robust and reproducible monitoring of limit values and flow curves. Flow sensors detect critical errors in the flow rate of liquid and gaseous media. Typical areas of application are cooling circuit monitoring in welding applications (e.g., to prevent pumps from running dry) and flow monitoring in air ducts and air conditioning equipment. Because of the calorimetry mode, the temperature of the medium is also monitored.
Flow velocity measurement
In addition to reproducibility, flow velocity measurement requires a defined degree of accuracy. Flow meters provide continuous, accurate measurement of a given liquid flow per unit of time, making it ideal for applications where qualitatively consistent process results and a stable supply of liquid are required. The flowmeters we supply are based on calorimetry, magnetic induction and vortex measurement principles, which are suitable for a variety of applications.
Liquid level sensors
It is possible to use the advantages of different measuring principles for level detection or continuous level measurement. This depends on a number of factors, such as whether a particulate medium or a liquid with foam on the surface is used. Similarly, special solutions are required in closed spaces, in areas with explosion protection maintenance, and in particularly deep containers.
Turck offers a comprehensive product portfolio with sensors for a wide range of media and environments, as well as with or without touching the medium when detecting. These include capacitive and magnetostrictoelastic sensors, fiber optic sensors, and ultrasonic sensors, as well as devices with guided microwaves.
