Working characteristics of Rexroth hydraulic motors

1. Under normal working conditions, the inlet and outlet pressures of the hydraulic motor are higher than the atmospheric pressure, so there will be no suction performance problems like the hydraulic pump. However, if the hydraulic motor can work under the conditions of the pump, its oil inlet should be at the low pressure limit to avoid cavitation.

2. The motor should be able to run forward and backward, therefore, the hydraulic motor must have structural symmetry in the design.

3. The actual working pressure difference of the hydraulic motor depends on the size of the load torque. When the driven load has a large moment of inertia, a higher speed and requires rapid braking or reverse rotation, a large hydraulic shock is generated. Therefore, please set up a buffer valve in the system.

4. Since internal leakage is unavoidable, there is still a slow slippage when the oil drain hole of the motor is closed and braked. Therefore, when long-term braking is required, separate brakes should be installed to prevent skidding.

5. Some types of hydraulic motors must have enough back pressure at the oil return port to ensure normal operation, the higher the speed, the greater the back pressure required. The increase in back pressure means that the pressure utilization of the oil source is low and the system is lost.

1. Radial plunger type hydraulic motor, low-speed and high-torque hydraulic motors are mostly radial plunger type. They have a large displacement, a large output torque, low speeds, good low-speed stability, and some low speeds can reach a minute or even a few tenths of a revolution.
