With an annual processing capacity of 5 million tons, the investment in production capacity per ton of product is reduced by 50% compared to 1 million tons. Compared with two 3 million tonnes/year refineries, the investment of one 6 million tonnes/year refinery is only 69% of the latter, the steel consumption is 53%, the floor area is 54%, the production cost is 75%, and the labor productivity is increased to 170%.
Due to the increasing level of automation of complete sets of equipment, the main production process of foreign petrochemical enterprises has realized direct digital control, and some have also realized computer hierarchical control. Chemical enterprises such as synthetic ammonia, urea, synthetic fibers, synthetic rubber and synthetic plastics have generally realized patrol detection and alarm, and some enterprises have achieved partial automatic control.
At present, foreign large-scale generator sets of more than 200,000kW are generally developed to computer control; Nuclear power plants are generally computer-controlled; Many countries use computer control for long-distance pipeline systems, and are equipped with microwave communication systems, and the general control room only needs two or three personnel on duty, and the whole line can be monitored through television.
