Introduction: The Rosemount/Rosemount Temperature Transmitter 2240S is a robust and certified temperature transmitter for use in demanding custody transfer applications that require accurate temperature measurement to calculate net standard volume. It can be used with a Rosemount 565, 566, or 765 temperature sensor. The Rosemount 2240S can be connected to up to sixteen 3- or 4-wire temperature point elements and an all-in-one water level sensor. Based on each single-point temperature element, combined with the corresponding level value, the average liquid temperature is provided to calculate the net volume. Excellent temperature conversion accuracy to ± 0.05 °C (± 0.09 °F)
