LED lighting has become a mainstream product in the market because of its excellent characteristics such as high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection. Recently, Eaton Explosion-proof Electric launched a new generation of HPLN series of high-power explosion-proof LED lighting solutions, which adhere to the excellent performance of the LED family: high efficiency, energy saving, reliability, compliance with GB, IECEx, ATEX and CU-TR certifications, to ensure the safety and stable operation of extreme environment conditions to the greatest extent.
A variety of configurations are available
The HPLN series products are available in three sizes to meet the needs of different applications from about 3,000 to 25,000 lumens.
At the same time, this series of lamps and lanterns are also equipped with various installation methods, in line with different IEC/NEC installation standards, such as boom type, ceiling type, wall type, column type and U-shaped bracket installation methods, which can meet the installation needs of 2.5-12 meters height.
Excellent anti-corrosion properties
The HPLN LED series lighting is coated with C5M/UL1598A standard coating, and its excellent corrosion resistance is especially suitable for extreme humidity and high corrosion in harsh working conditions, such as the offshore field, which can greatly extend the service life of the luminaire. The national standard for anti-corrosion stipulates 6 types of atmospheric corrosivity levels for the atmospheric environment, C1 is very low, C2 is low, C3 is medium, C4 is high, C5-1 is very high (industrial), and C5-M is very high (marine). Corrosion in different environments requires similar levels of corrosion. The corrosion protection in the highly severe corrosive environment, i.e., C4 (high), C5-I (very industrial), C5-M (very high marine) corrosive environment, is considered to be heavy corrosion protection.
Surge protection
For offshore applications, 4Kv surge protection is provided as standard, and another 10Kv is available as an option to ensure stable operation of the luminaire in bad weather. A surge is an instantaneous overvoltage that exceeds the normal voltage. In the field of marine engineering, the working environment is particularly susceptible to lightning and other impacts, which will cause surge voltage to be generated when lightning strikes, or large loads on the power grid are turned on or off, which is a violent pulse of transient interference, which only occurs in one millionth of a second, which can easily lead to circuit damage, so that LED devices and LED intelligent lighting control systems are damaged. Today, the development of LED lighting technology is gradually maturing, and we are gradually solving this problem.
Energy-efficient
The energy-efficient performance of LEDs has been widely recognized by the public, and more and more industrial fields are adopting LED solutions. With a lumen efficiency of up to 130 lm/w, our HPLN series of LED lighting can save about 60% of energy consumption compared to conventional luminaires, and can be used as a perfect replacement for HID luminaires (HID high-intensity discharge lamps, which generally have low color rendering, are sensitive to low voltage fluctuations, and have a long start-up time). Reasonable optical design can effectively improve the light distribution, reduce the number of lamps and lanterns, and long-term maintenance-free characteristics, which can greatly reduce the investment cost of customers and reduce the risk of construction operations.
Innovative design
The HPLN LED series of luminaires combines a number of innovative designs. The innovative radiator design ensures a long life of the luminaire in extreme environments. The reason why LEDs generate heat is that not all of the electrical energy is converted into light energy, but some of it is converted into heat energy. The heat generated by the LED chips is eventually dispersed into the air through the lamp housing. If it can't dissipate heat well, the heat capacity of the LED chip is very small, so if some heat is accumulated, the connection temperature of the chip will increase rapidly, and if it works at high temperature for a long time, the life will be shortened rapidly, affecting the service life and light quality.
