According to the test, the service life of the inverter is halved for every 10°C increase in the operating ambient temperature. Therefore, in the daily operation, a reasonable maintenance cycle and guidelines should be formulated according to the actual operating environment and load characteristics of the inverter, and after each operation cycle, the inverter should be fully protected once as a whole, such as dismantling, viewing, and measuring, so that the hidden dangers can be found and dealt with in the early stage.

(1) Regularly (according to the actual environment to determine the length of its cycle distance) to carry out a comprehensive inspection and protection of the inverter

If necessary, the rectifier module, inverter module and the circuit board in the control cabinet can be disassembled, viewed, measured, dusted and tightened. Because the air inlet and progress air outlet under the inverter are often blocked due to dust accumulation or excessive dust accumulation, its own heat dissipation is high, and the ventilation volume is large, so after the operation must be time, there is dust on the circuit board (due to static electricity), which must be cleaned and checked.

(2) After repairing the circuit board and busbar, the necessary anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out

Insulating paint should be painted, and the burrs of the busbar that had been partially discharged and arced should be removed and insulated. For the insulating column that has been insulated and broken down, it must be eradicated and carbonized or replaced.

(3) Check and tighten all terminals to prevent serious heating caused by loosening

(4) Conduct a comprehensive review of the large equipment

Conduct a comprehensive inspection and parameter measurement of the input (including output) terminal, rectifier module, inverter module, DC capacitor and fast-melting equipment, and replace the incinerated equipment or the equipment with large parameter changes if found.

(5) Always carefully check the fan rolling situation in the inverter and roll the fan blade by hand after power failure, investigate whether the bearing is stuck or the rolling is inflexible, and replace it if necessary

(6) Carefully check the electronic components on the control circuit board

Check and deal with abnormal phenomena such as desoldering, discoloration, bulging, cracking, and broken wires (printed board lines), and if necessary, the components with abnormal appearance can be viewed or replaced from the desoldering measurement on the circuit board.

(7) Protection of electrolytic capacitors

Because the electronic components of the inverter are designed to consider the problem of capacity decline caused by aging, it is not necessary to replace the capacitor with reduced capacity immediately in repair. In practice, the decrease in capacitance capacity is directly related to the inverter's operating environment, load size, working system, etc., and the harsh environment, the larger the load, and the frequency of stopping and starting, etc., will accelerate the aging of the DC main capacitor. In addition, during regular protection, it is necessary to check in detail whether the main DC circuit capacitor has leakage, whether the shell is expanded, bubbling or deformed, whether the safety valve is flushed open, and the capacitance capacity, leakage current (the leakage current will overheat the capacitor, causing the safety valve to burst open, and even the capacitor explosion), withstand voltage, etc., and replace the capacitor with a capacitance decrease of more than 30%, a leakage current of more than 70mA, and a withstand voltage of less than 650V. For new capacitors or capacitors that have not been used for a long time, functional tests should be carried out to meet the requirements of the use before they can be replaced.

(8) For rectifier block, inverter GTR (or IGBT) and other large ampacities equipment, use multimeters, bridges and other instruments and tools to detect and withstand voltage test, measure their forward and reverse resistance values, and make table records, and replace the modules with large parameter differences.

(9) Check the main contactor and other auxiliary relays, carefully investigate whether the dynamic contacts of each contactor have arcing, burrs or surface oxidation, unevenness, and find that the corresponding dynamic contacts should be replaced to ensure that their contacts are safe and reliable.

(10) Always check the degree of power supply voltage fluctuation, improve the inverter operating environment and the phenomenon of large load fluctuations, and avoid the impact of large current on the inverter.
