When the industrial computer fails to start normally, it can complete the correction of unknown faults by restoring the BIOS factory settings. So how to restore the factory settings of the industrial motherboard BIOS?
1. Enter the main interface of BIOS settings to operate, and the steps are as follows:
1. Press the Delete button to enter the BIOS setting interface.
2. Select "Load Setup Defaults" under the "Exit" menu and press Enter, select "Yes", and press Enter again.
3. Press the "F10" button, select "Yes" and press Enter, the system will restart at this moment, and the BIOS will be successfully restored to factory settings.

1. Use CMOS discharge jumper
At present, most industrial motherboards are designed with CMOS discharge jumpers to facilitate the user's discharge operation, which is the most commonly used CMOS discharge method. The discharge jumper is usually a three-pin and is located next to the CMOS battery socket of the industrial motherboard, and is accompanied by a battery discharge statement. By default, the jumper cap is attached to the pins marked "1" and "2", and it can be known as "Normal" from the discharge clarification, that is, the normal operation status.
To use the jumper to discharge, first pull the jumper cap from the pins "1" and "2" with tweezers or other tools, and then put it on the pins marked "2" and "3" to connect them, and the discharge clarification can know that the current condition is "Clear CMOS", that is, eradicate CMOS. After a short period of contact, the user's various manual settings in the BIOS can be erased and restored to the default settings of the industrial motherboard at the factory.
After discharging the CMOS, the jumper cap needs to be removed from the "2" and "3" pins, and then restored to the original "1" and "2" pins. Note that if the jumper cap is not restored to normal condition, the IPC will not be able to be started and there will be an alarm sound.
2. Take out the CMOS battery
Find the CMOS battery socket on the industrial motherboard, and then press the clip on the socket to hold the power supply battery to the side, and the CMOS battery will automatically pop out at this moment, and take out the battery carefully. Then start the IPC, and the screen will prompt that the data in the BIOS has been erased, and you need to enter the BIOS to set it from scratch.
3. Short the positive and negative poles of the battery socket
