According to the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Education's Notice on Printing and Distributing the Implementation Measures for the Construction of Industry-Education Integration Enterprises (Trial) (Fagai Society [2019] No. 590) and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security's "Notice on Organizing the Application of Pilot Enterprises for the Integration of Industry and Education in 2022" (Su Fa Gai She Fa [2022] No. 1235), after voluntary declaration by enterprises, local preliminary review, third-party assessment and joint review by relevant provincial departments, Advantech was listed as the fifth batch of industry-education integration pilot cultivation enterprises in Jiangsu Province, and was included in the Jiangsu Province Industry-Education Integration Enterprise Construction Cultivation Bank.
Advantech focuses on the integration of real estate and education, deeply analyzes the planning direction of "new engineering" based on the "new engineering" policy and industrial background for a long time, and cooperates deeply with universities to find the convergence points between the two sides, and actively integrates its own IoT resources into the "new engineering" planning of colleges and universities in terms of training systems, teaching suites, courses, teaching materials, laboratories, and training bases. In recent years, with the advancement of ESG and dual-carbon strategies, Advantech will integrate the concept of "iEMS+ESG" into the industry-academia design concept in 2023, empower IoT education through iEMS, and carry out project cooperation and industrial incubation with universities to help students sow low-carbon seeds and apply their professional knowledge to carbon reduction actions.
In the process of school-enterprise cooperation, Advantech provides colleges and universities with Advantech's industrial IoT cloud platform and other IoT software and hardware R&D technologies, and jointly builds industrial IoT laboratories and training centers with universities to provide simulation practice bases for IoT courses and projects. On the other hand, in response to the needs of the construction of "new engineering", professional courses with the popularization and application of Internet of Things knowledge are set up as the learning objectives. Up to now, Advantech has cooperated with Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Yanshan University, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing Information Science and Technology University, and many other universities.
Advantech's development direction of industry-education integration is carried out through a variety of projects, including IoT teacher training, dean's summit forum, corporate internship program, InnoWorks implementation plan, etc., to build a bridge of industry-academia integration and innovation collaboration. In addition, Advantech also has an Advantech Training Center, which regularly organizes training and networking activities to share cutting-edge IoT technologies with industry partners and universities. At the same time, Advantech works with ecosystem partners to build a talent employment outlet for college students.
In the future, Advantech, as a practitioner and promoter of the integration of industry and education in the Industrial Internet of Things, will further leverage the advantages of IoT science and technology innovation, gather the kinetic energy of industry and education, help the transformation of scientific research achievements, and promote the high-quality development of the Internet of Things industry.
