The FIELDVUE™ DVC6200f fieldbus digital valve controller is certified for non-flammable, intrinsically safe, fireproof, and explosion-proof applications. The digital valve controller is available for both single- and double-acting actuators. The FIELDVUE Digital Valve Controller, which provides online valve diagnostics, is a core part of Emerson's PlantWeb™ digital plant architecture.
The FIELDVUE™ DVC6200f Digital Valve Controller is a microprocessor-based current-to-pneumatic signal communication instrument with low connections and contactless stroke feedback. The DVC6200f meter performs three important functions:
Controls the movement of the valve stem or shaft by converting the digital input signal of the process controller into a pneumatic signal and outputting it to the actuator.
Automatic calibration and configuration, made possible by the power of microprocessor technology.
Communication functions via the FOUNDATION™ fieldbus protocol to provide instrumentation and valve diagnostics.
The DVC6200f is registered by the Fieldbus Foundation and uses patented low-connection, contactless stroke feedback technology. It offers an all-digital Foundation fieldbus open communication protocol. Once installed in Emerson's Process Management PlantWeb™ system, the instrument will be continuously running in plate valve diagnostics. If a problem is detected, the information is automatically forwarded to the appropriate person.
