The ABP series is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor capable of taking proportional analogue or digital output pressure readings over a specified full-scale pressure span and temperature range. They utilize an on-board application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) to calibrate and temperature compensate for sensor bias, sensitivity, temperature effects, and accuracy errors, including nonlinearity, repeatability, and hysteresis. The calibrated analog and digital output values are updated at a rate of approximately 1 kHz and 2 kHz, respectively. All products are designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
Dry Gas Option: The input port is limited to non-corrosive and non-ionic media such as dry air and gas. Gases are limited to media compatible with high-temperature polyamides, silicones, alumina ceramics, silicon, gold and glass.
Liquid Media Options: Includes an additional silicone gel coating to protect the electronics under port P1, enabling use with non-corrosive liquids such as water and salt water or in applications where condensation may occur. Since port P2 is designed to work with non-corrosive liquids, this option is typically suitable for wet/wet differential pressure sensing.
