Increase production and expand capacity to open a new chapter
The second phase of the new plant project of Eaton Heqing Park, covering an area of 12,500 square meters, is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in August 2023. The new plant mainly produces products related to the reliability of power transmission and distribution systems, intelligent electrical solutions, and serves the power system and new energy industries.
In the process of carbon neutrality leading to sustainable acceleration, Eaton is starting to transform the energy system around the world. In 2021, more than one-third of Eaton's global electricity consumption came from renewable sources, and 11 plants in Asia Pacific have been powered by photovoltaics. Among them, Eaton Heqing Park is a key member of the global factory, and the first phase of the photovoltaic power generation project has been successfully operated for many years, and the carbon reduction effect is remarkable. The second phase of the plan also integrates Eaton's photovoltaic storage microgrid solution, and at the same time deploys a highly automated digital factory, so that "green manufacturing" and "intelligent manufacturing" go hand in hand, and reshape market competitiveness.

Green factories win the future intelligently
Eaton Electric Group's Asia Pacific Distribution Systems & Services Reliable Distribution Business Unit Manager Gao Meng outlined a vision for the future of the new facility.
After the completion of the new factory, the energy level of core products will be improved, and high-end new products supporting energy transformation will be vigorously developed, so as to provide strong support for the further implementation of the localization route. At the same time, Eaton will make full use of digital means and invest in MES/PVS and other systems to make the overall operation of the new factory more transparent and visual, achieve lean management and improve quality and efficiency, upgrade the complete value chain of manufacturing, and build a smart factory.
In the context of vigorously achieving the "double carbon" goal, the new factory will focus on exploring space for energy conservation and carbon reduction, introducing low-carbon design throughout the product life cycle, reducing raw material and energy consumption in the production process, accelerating the digitalization process, and adopting more automated advanced equipment to improve the overall energy efficiency.
This time, Eaton will highlight the industrial layout, localized alternative power grids and new energy supporting product lines in Heqing Park, opening up new prospects for green energy transformation, and is committed to building strong competitiveness in the new energy power generation market and achieving new goals. After the completion of the new factory, it will also provide more assistance for the development of regional advanced manufacturing industry and add new momentum to the development of industrial economy in Heqing Town.
