The general computer display is used for work, entertainment scenes, and the industrial display is generally used as a monitor or man-machine display interface for a variety of industrial sites, usually need to be used 24 hours a day, 365 days a year continuous uninterrupted power use, and the application environment of some sites has harsh conditions such as water vapor, dust, oil pollution or electromagnetic disturbance, which puts forward relatively high requirements for the whole machine structure and protection strength of the industrial display. Compared with general displays, industrial displays generally use pure metal bodies, which can prevent impact and block electromagnetic disturbances; In the planning of the heat dissipation module, in order to coordinate the heat dissipation efficiency and realize the fully enclosed integrated fuselage structure, the fanless heat dissipation module is usually selected for industrial displays; In terms of the stability test of the whole machine, the industrial display will generally carry out the high temperature and high humidity environment power-on aging test for more than 24 hours before leaving the factory to ensure the stability of the whole machine.
2. Data components
According to the application requirements of industrial grade, industrial displays are also very particular about the selection of internal components. Generally speaking, the front panel of the industrial display will be selected to reach the IP65 protection level, and the internal board lines are industrially planned, and the components used are very high in terms of withstand voltage, current, temperature and humidity, and the process requirements for the components are also higher than those of general commercial displays.
3. Display parameters
From the point of view of resolution, as long as the general computer display supports the commonly used resolution, but the industrial display is generally high-definition 1920*1080, and the resolution can also be adjusted according to the actual display output, and the high-definition display ability is better. In terms of brightness, the brightness of general displays is only about 250cd/m2, while the brightness of industrial displays will reach at least 450cd/m2, which can provide better visualization even in outdoor or direct sunlight environments.
Fourth, the use of life
Generally speaking, the backlight life of industrial displays can reach more than 30,000 hours, which is several times that of general displays, and the contact life of industrial displays with contact can basically reach 35 million times.
5. Interface expansion
