Wire rod is a hot-rolled profile after rolling by a rolling mill, which is mainly a product produced by a series of technological processes such as billet through heating furnace, rough rolling, medium rolling, pre-finishing rolling, finishing rolling, spinning, cooling transportation, and collection.
In a large iron and steel group in Shanxi, a wire rod production line transmission device has been used for a long time, and now the inverter is in urgent need of replacement after the expiration of service, so the customer proposed to carry out localized substitution to meet the production requirements and save energy, reduce costs and increase efficiency.
INVT Plan
Based on the needs of customers, INVT launched the GD800 feedback rectifier + GD800 inverter + GD600 inverter common DC bus multi-transmission plan.
1. Two sets of GD800 feedback rectifiers are selected, one for standby and one for rectification, and switched through the transfer switch.
2. GD800 series units are used for inverters above 90KW (inclusive), and GD600 series units are selected for inverters below 90KW. Together, after analyzing the parameters and wiring diagram of the original inverter, the INVT inverter unit perfectly matches the port wiring and DP communication parameters of the original inverter, and truly completes the seamless replacement.
3. A fuse is installed on the connection between the rectifier DC bus and the inverter to prevent the damage of a single inverter unit and affect the operation of the whole system. The running trolley and pallet in the collection area are controlled by closed-loop control to complete accurate positioning.
The program has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving, and easy maintenance.
Program Benefits
In terms of performance: perfect completion of domestic replacement
1) Domestic seamless replacement can be carried out in communication.
2) Closed-loop control is selected for pallets, running trolleys, and mandrel motors to complete accurate positioning, reduce labor, and fully meet the on-site requirements for frequent forward and reverse rotation of inverters, high frequency and high torque.
3) The transmutation word and control word of the communication part of the inverter have flexible and free combination functions, and the relevant functions can be correctly equipped according to the internal free function block of the original inverter.
In terms of cost: 50% reduction in cost
1) The rectifier system is replaced by feedback rectification, which saves about 30% of electricity and reduces the production cost by about 50%.
2) The maintenance is simple, and the overall cabinet size of the same equipment is reduced by 20% compared with the original.
