In order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, promote the in-depth integration between Hong Kong and the mainland in the field of science and technology, and deepen and promote the application and development of artificial intelligence and robotics in various industries in Hong Kong, the CAIR Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Forum was held in Hong Kong on 6 July 2022.
The forum is hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation (HKISI) The Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR).
During the innovation presentation session of the forum, the new Chief Executive of the Hong Kong S.A.R. attended the meeting, and Li Jiachao gave high hopes to CAIR's scientific researchers, saying, "You have a great responsibility and will continue to work hard in the future.
Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, visited the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Center of the Hong Kong Innovation and Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and carefully watched a series of the latest scientific research results.
In front of the intelligent ultrasound robotic system jointly developed by Han's Robotics and the Hong Kong Institute of Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the medical robotics team of the InnoCentre introduced the intelligent ultrasound robotic system to Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of Hong Kong (second from left), and Mohamed Butt, Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Productivity Council (middle).
This intelligent ultrasound robotic system can digitize and standardize the operation of ultrasound mapping, so that the entire process of ultrasound scanning can be recorded and standardized for sonographer training and evaluation. Robotic automated scanning also provides an opportunity for remote surgery, which can solve the lack of high-quality medical resources and reduce the burden on hospital doctors.
