Introduction: The Rosemount/Rosemount 4+2 Dual-Configurable Gas Ultrasonic Flow Meter 3416, Rosemount 3416 4+2 Ultrasonic Flow Meter combines a field-proven Rosemount four-channel British Gas string meter (validated to OIML R137 1&2 accuracy class 0.5) and a two-channel reflexology check instrument to provide superior functionality and performance to immediately pinpoint the cause of small flow disturbances. A highly sensitive vertical 90° channel for rapid detection of bottom-of-pipe fluid and other debris that can significantly increase (LAUF) gas loss. The ultra-fast 3410 Series electronics generate a wealth of predictive diagnostic information that is displayed via MeterLink™ software to detect costly process failures in real time.

Detect build-up on the tube wall in real time with a sensitive 30°, single reflective channel
Patented sensor synchronization prevents interference and noise and speeds up flow disturbance detection
By working together with the chord and reflection channels, common pattern errors are avoided
Measurement uncertainty is reduced by alerting for pipe wall build-up, liquids, clogging, and gas quality degradation
The 3D view of the flow profile shows swirls, cross-currents, asymmetrics, and turbulence to accelerate problem solving
Human error is reduced by automatic calculation of the AGA 8 compression coefficient and the AGA 10 sound velocity
With the new Smart Meter Self-Verification Essentials now included in the latest 3410 electronic component firmware update, the time previously spent on data analysis and troubleshooting has been significantly reduced
