Introduction: The Rosemount/Rosemount Electromagnetic Sensor MS140, MS Slurry Sensor is a reliable solution for difficult-to-measure applications such as grit, high-solids fluids, long-fiber slurry, or installations that generate excessive process noise. Designed for difficult-to-measure applications, the MS slurry sensor overcomes common flow signal difficulties to achieve a stable and sensitive flow output.

It can handle extremely noisy applications and, when combined with the 8782 transmitter, provides a more stable flow output than standard electromagnetic flowmeters
The enhanced signal strength enables more accurate flow measurements, and when combined with the 8782 flow meter, reduces process variability in difficult-to-measure flows
Dual calibration options reduce sensor inventory
Fully welded sensor housings ensure reliable performance in the harshest environments
With the optional lining protector, installation damage and leading edge wear are prevented.
Use a removable, replaceable terminal block to avoid process downtime and enable on-site repairs
Equipped with an optional secondary containment vessel for information on all potential process fluid leaks
The unobstructed design with no moving parts minimizes the need for maintenance and repairs and is ideal for conductive slurry metering
The MS slurry sensor is combined with the 8782 slurry transmitter for optimal performance in noisy applications.
