Miniature decoder board
The Honeywell Gen7 DB decoder board is the next-generation version of the best-selling MINI DB decoder board. In addition to the high performance and small form factor, users will continue to enjoy benefits such as support for the most complete barcode symbology, excellent motion tolerances, and the ability to successfully read all types of barcodes, including poorly printed or smartphone screens. Honeywell Gen7 DB is also flash upgradeable to ensure continuous innovation and support.
Customers can choose between a TTL serial port or a USB interface to mount it to the motherboard using additional press-fit screws via a board-to-board, snap-in mount design. This "wireless" solution eliminates the need for additional flexible cables and connectors, and can also reduce size.
The Honeywell Gen7 DB has a wide operating temperature range of -30°C to 60°C [-22°F to 140°F], matching the operating temperature range of the high-performance N670X Series scan engines.
The Honeywell Gen7 DB is fully backward compatible with the MINI DB decoder board, sharing the same electrical pinouts and mechanical mounting, allowing for a smooth migration of current designs to the new Honeywell GEN7 DB platform. When paired with the N670X Series and the Extended FlexRange EX30 scan engine, customers can easily embed a complete 2D imaging solution into a small space, providing superior design flexibility and integration.
