The switching signal from the sensor OSSD is sent to the safety system. It is used to detect short circuits, overloads or crossover circuits, and to test the shutdown capability at the same time. Thanks to SIL 2 and functional class PLd (EN ISO 13849), these devices meet the stringent requirements in terms of functional safety.

Cost-effective security solutions

Turck's new product range includes the flushable M12, M18 and M30 cylindrical threads, each with a large safety connection distance, a robust metal housing and a wide temperature range of -25 to 70 °C.
