The collaborative robot company "Jieka Robot" recently announced the completion of the C round of financing, with a financing amount of more than 300 million yuan, this round of financing was led by CITIC Industrial Fund's fund and SDIC China Merchants, followed by the old shareholder Fangguang Capital, and Huaxing Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor for this round of financing. Previously, "Jieka Robot" received 15 million yuan in Series A financing in 2015, 60 million yuan in Series A+ financing in 2018, and 100 million yuan in Series B financing in April 2019.

With its high flexibility, accuracy and safety, collaborative robots are mostly used in precision assembly, product packaging, loading and unloading and other scenarios. GGII data shows that in 2019, the global sales of collaborative robots were 25,500 units, with a market size of 4.41 billion yuan, and from 2014 to 2019, the average annual compound growth rate of global collaborative robot sales was 50%, and it is estimated that by 2023, the global sales of collaborative robots will reach 80,000 units, and the market size will be close to 12 billion yuan.

The "Card Robot" was also born from this wave. Founded in 2014, the "Jieka Robot" has broken through a series of key technologies such as intelligent operation, environmental perception, and safety control, and realized the functions of drag & drop programming, collision detection, safety protection, etc., and has outstanding versatility and flexibility, and can be easily applied to various industries, such as 3C electronics, advanced manufacturing, car parts, new energy, medical equipment and other industries.

In terms of certification, in May 2020, the Jieka robot won the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award; In September 2020, at the Industry Fair, the Jieka Robot won the CIIF Award.

Of course, since it is a burst track, it will definitely encounter many competitors, and by July 2019, the number of collaborative robot manufacturers entering the Chinese market will exceed 70, and the number of global more than 100.
