In order to satisfy the continuous development of passenger information system (PIS) in railways and subways, EVOC has launched a new generation of PIS host - TRW-8371P, which fully satisfies the EN50155 specifications and has the following outstanding features:
1. High processing function
The TRW-8371P is powered by Intel's high-performance embedded low-power i5 processor, with an operating frequency of 2.5GHz and a cache of 3MB to meet the requirements of large-stream video decoding. The processor supports Intel's turbo frequency function, and the maximum operating frequency can reach 3.1GHz.
2. Ultra-large capacity and high-speed memory
The built-in 4GB DDR1333 memory bandwidth can reach 21.3GB/s, and the free SODIMM slot can expand the system content to 12GB. Ultra-large capacity and high-speed memory can meet more multimedia processing needs.
3. High Functional Manifestation Center
The processor has a built-in Intel®HDGraphics3000 graphics center, the graphics center frequency can reach 1.1GHz, and the maximum video memory can reach 1GB (shared memory).
4. Multi-channel storage
TRW-8371 has a built-in 6-channel SATA storage, including 2-channel electronic hard disk and 4-channel large-capacity mechanical hard disk, which can be used as a high-speed cache for PIS system, and can also be used for data storage of small CCTV.
5. High-performance EMC
TRW-8371 fully satisfies EN50155 railway specifications, and all external communication interfaces of the whole machine can be tested EN50155. The 2500V blocked serial port and GPIO can communicate data with a variety of train equipment.
6. High and reliable planning
In order to ensure reliability, TRW-8371P adopts the planning of PCB onboard CPU and memory, which eliminates the poor contact caused by gold finger plugging. The back-up battery module improves the reliability of the power supply.
7. Easy maintenance planning
In order to facilitate daily maintenance, the TRW-8371 adopts an external pull-out plan for hard disks, power supplies, and batteries, which can be quickly replaced.
8. Wide operating temperature range
As a railway on-board equipment, TRW-8371 can meet EN50155TX environmental specifications and can operate stably in various harsh environments for a long time.
