(1) Failure of the hard disk
Judgment of hard disk failure: Often in the operation of the machine, the display suddenly appears white and blue screen, and there is an address prompt similar to 0x, at this time, the program can no longer run, and it is necessary to force the power to turn off the power for the host to restart. Then a similar prompt occurs during the reboot:
1) Prompts that there is no valid system boot disk;
2) The system can start normally, but there is a sudden blue screen during the startup process, and there is an address prompt similar to 0x;
3) During the system startup process, the screen will stop when it runs to a certain step, and there will be no response after waiting for a long time.
For prompts that do not have a valid boot disk, you can directly replace the hard disk, which is a soft fault such as a hardware failure of the hard disk or a corrupted partition table, and the hard disk can only be replaced. For the second and third cases, it means that the hard disk operating system program still exists, you can restart it again, and click the F8 key many times during the boot self-test, then you can choose the correct configuration of the system for the last time to see if you can restore the system, if not, you also need to replace the hard disk. The failure of the hard disk here is to directly replace the hard disk without data recovery and other more complex hard disk repair work, because the dual-machine hot standby system of the industrial computer can copy the original correct data from another host or the data backup done in advance in the case of a safe backup, so there is no more data recovery and restoration processing involved here. For the second and third cases, there is a more effective way to deal with it, when installing the industrial computer system, do a one-click restore ghost backup in advance, so that when there is a simple software system failure, you can restore it with one click, which can also save a lot of manpower, material resources and time consumption.
(2) Motherboard failure
If there is no prompt at all, it means that the motherboard is faulty or the host power supply is faulty. At this time, power on and restart the host again, observe whether the industrial computer indicates that the light or the fan of the wind power supply rotates, if it means that the light is on or the fan rotates, listen to whether the motherboard has made one or two dripping sounds, if not, it is generally the fault of the motherboard, and the industrial computer needs to be replaced.
(3) Memory module failure
When you boot and restart, you can hear the motherboard emit a continuous dripping sound, and at this time, the memory module is not firmly inserted or the memory module is damaged, and the memory module can be replaced.
(4) Host fan
After the machine runs for too long, the fan makes a loud noise or stops rotating, which is easy to cause the CPU to crash, and the fan needs to be replaced in time.
