NRE8 series electronic overload relay (hereinafter referred to as the relay) is mainly used in the circuit with AC 50/60Hz, rated working voltage below 690V, and the current is within the range of the setting current calibrated by the casing, for three-phase motor overload and phase failure protection.
This relay is a new type of energy-saving, high-tech electrical appliance that applies a microcontroller. Corresponding to the same specification of bimetal disc thermal relay, energy saving of more than 80%. This relay uses a microcontroller to detect the current waveform and current size of the main circuit to determine whether the motor is overloaded and out of phase. When the microcontroller is overloaded, the length of the delay is determined by calculating the multiple of the overload current, and when the delay time is reached, the normally closed contact is disconnected through the tripping mechanism, and the normally open contact is closed. The microcontroller reduces the delay time during phase failure.

This product can be plugged and installed with corresponding AC contactors such as NC1, NC7, NC8 and NC2.
