FANUC CNC system fault check

In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the machine tool, the CNC system should usually be routinely inspected and tested first, regardless of whether the fault involves the following inspections. This type of inspection includes a visual inspection and a mains voltage inspection.

                              FANUC CNC system fault check

First, the visual inspection of the system.

(1) Visual inspection of parts: The visual inspection of CNC devices and servo drives should include the following:

1) Check whether the appearance of the parts of the MDI/CRT unit, machine tool console and other units is damaged;

2) Check whether the components of the control unit, servo drive unit, power supply unit, I/O unit, PLC, motor, encoder and other units are in good condition; Whether the shape is damaged or contaminated.

3) Whether the connecting cables are damaged, insulated or poorly inserted;

(2) Installation inspection is indispensable for repairing Fanuc CNC system faults.

1) Check whether the installation of control unit, servo drive unit, power supply unit, I/O unit, PLC and other components is firm, and whether there is looseness or falling off.

2) Check whether the operating parts on the panel and machine are installed firmly.

3) Check whether the connecting cable is arranged and fixed according to the requirements, and whether the cable plug is reliably fixed.

4) Check whether the wiring of each I/O connection is loose and whether the installation is firm.

(3) Wiring inspection.

1) Check whether the power connection of the system and transmission is correct.

2) Check whether the grounding wire connection of CNC, SV driver, PLC, I/O unit and other equipment is correct, whether there is sufficient wire diameter, whether the connection position is reasonable, and whether the protective ground is single-point grounding.

3) Check that the signal cable has been reliably and properly grounded.

4) If the cable has been replaced, check whether the replaced cable meets the system requirements, whether the shield is connected reliably, and so on.

Second, when troubleshooting the Fanuc CNC system, the confirmation of the power supply voltage is very important, that is, the input voltage of the system should meet the requirements in the system installation and operation manual according to the voltage used by the system. In this way, the basic requirements of the system for the input voltage are as follows:

(1) Input voltage system voltage in the AC main circuit and control loop:

Input: Voltage value: 380 () 1V: Frequency: (50 + 1Hz) Hz.

Input: Voltage value: 220(1)V; Frequency: (50+1) Hz.

Input: AC200V Voltage value: 200 (1) V Frequency: Hz (50 + 1) Hz

(2) The AC input voltage specified by the FANUC system unit.

Power input of the console: AC200 (1) V; Frequency: Hz(50+1)Hz; or AC220(1)V; Hz(60+1)Hz: AC200V/(60+1)Hz is not suitable.

Server Input: AC200(1)V; Frequency: (50+1)Hz; or AC220(1)V; (60+1) Hz; (60+1) Hz: AC200V/(60+1)Hz is not suitable.

The input voltage of FANUC standard power supply transformer is: AC200V, 220V, 230V, 240V, 380V, 415V, 440V, 450V, 480V, 550V (error does not exceed +10%, -15%), and the input voltage of the system should be turned on according to the above requirements.

(3) DC input voltage.

For some systems, there is a large tolerance for the allowable input power supply due to the switching regulated power supply used inside the system. According to this premise, the input requirements of DC24V are as follows: voltage value: 24 (1 soil) V; After filtering, it meets the requirements.

(4) The output voltage of the system power module.

The output voltage of the system power supply module mainly refers to the various voltages used by each unit inside the power supply system, and the voltage value must be correct. During maintenance, it should be measured, checked, and adjusted by the corresponding adjustment elements inside the system power supply to ensure that the voltage value is within the allowable range. In FANUC systems, the commonly used voltage types and requirements are as follows:

1) System logic circuit voltage 5V: +5 (+5%)V.

2) System input and output signals, the display voltage is 24V: +24V (1+IO%).

3) 24V voltage: +24(1+10%)V is used for external input and output signals of the system.

4) System position control circuit voltage +15V: +15 (1+5%)V.

5) The voltage of the system position control circuit is -15V: -15(1+5%)V.

6) Benchmark 10V system power module voltage: +10(1+0.5%)V.
