Festo's new global production center in Jinan is located in the Suncun area of Jinan High-tech Zone, which is the core area of Jinan to promote the development of intelligent manufacturing industry. The new plant in Festo Sun Village is planned to cover a total area of about 430,000 square meters and will have production workshops, a logistics center, a dual training center, laboratories, an intelligent manufacturing platform, office buildings, etc. Festo has 10 global production centers around the world, and the new Festo Global Production Center in Jinan will be the largest in the world when completed. When completed, the project will create approximately 3,500 jobs.
The factory building is the first phase of the project, covering an area of about 100,000 square meters, with a construction scale of about 70,000 square meters and a total investment of about 560 million yuan. It will be completed at the end of 2018 and will start production in February 2019. The second phase covers an area of 330,000 square meters and is scheduled to be completed by mid-2020.

It was completed at the end of 2018 and officially started production in February this year. The second phase covers 330,000 square meters and will be carried out in the first half of this year.
The new processing plant in Suncun is one of the most important investments of the Festo Group.
