Advantech, a global leader in the smart system market, hosted the inaugural Advantech IoT Joint Innovation Summit at the Suzhou International Expo Center in China. More than 5,000 Anhua Technology customers and partners from all over the world attended the summit. Together, they witnessed the launch of WISE-PaaS 3.0, the latest IoT platform architecture created by Advantech in collaboration with software and industry partners, and 32 IoT Solution Off-the-Shelf Packages (SRPs). The event itself will help integrate hardware and software across industries, connect and build a complete IIoT ecosystem and value chain, allowing Jentharum and its partners to officially enter the next IoT phase.
KC Liu, Chairman of Advantech, said that based on the diverse, extensive, and fragmented market characteristics of IoT applications, Advantech has assisted the industry in integrating and connecting existing hardware and software, and has made the creation of a complete industrial value chain a top priority for the development of the IoT industry. In line with this trend,AdvantechAdvantech launched the WISE-PaaS platform in 2014, and in more than two years, the platform was fully connected from top to bottom, including sensors, edge computing, communications, PaaS platforms, SRPs, cloud service operations and other services, creating a complete IoT supply chain.
Liu elaborated that the key to success for this chain to be fully executed and applications to the masses is full collaboration and integration between platform technology vendors and industry professionals to create a standardized and replicable SRP product, combined with hardware and software systems. System integrators should install SRP at the user's site and carry out follow-up maintenance to complete the on-site solution and form an industrial IoT supply chain. The WISE-PaaS software is the core of the core, but with the goal of sharing, it is run by the cost center on a membership model.
