The selection of displacement sensors should meet the requirements of the following objectives:
1. Technical objectives in terms of sensitivity
For an instrument, generally the higher the sensitivity, the better, because the more sensitive, the simpler the change in the acceleration generated by the surrounding environment, the greater the change in acceleration, and the natural change of the output voltage will also become larger accordingly, so that the measurement is relatively simple and convenient, and the measured data will be more accurate.
2. Zero point temperature
A change in the zero equilibrium caused by a change in ambient temperature. Generally, it is expressed as the percentage of the zero equilibrium change caused by the change of temperature to the rated output for every 10°C change in temperature, that is, the drift of the input caused by the temperature change when the sensor is not pressurized.
3. Technical objectives in terms of bandwidth
Bandwidth refers to the useful frequency band that the sensor can measure, for example, a sensor with hundreds of HZ bandwidth can measure vibration, and a sensor with 50 HZ bandwidth can be useful for measuring inclination.
4. The technical objectives of the output method
There are two methods: digital output and analog output. The digital sensor inputs digital signals to the surface, such as quantity, weight, etc.; Analog sensors input analog signals such as voltage and current to the surface.
5. Technical objectives in terms of range
The range required to measure the movement of different things is different, and it should be measured according to the actual situation.
6. Limit overload
The maximum load that the sensor can accept without losing its working capacity. This means that when the job exceeds this value, the sensor will be permanently damaged.
7. Sensor gain
It is the amplification rate of the original signal output of the sensor.

Turck sensor classification and its characteristics
Ultrasonic sensors
In order to ensure the best material flow, the in-plant logistics system often uses conveying equipment, and if you want to run the conveying equipment at high speed, it is necessary to obtain the location information of the container. Turck's RU50 ultrasonic sensor is the ideal solution for inspecting containers in intralogistics systems.

Introduction to displacement sensors and their characteristics – Turck
1. Displacement sensor, also known as linear sensor, is a linear device belonging to metal induction, and the function of the sensor is to convert various measured physical quantities into electricity. In the production process, the measurement of displacement is generally divided into two types: measurement standard and mechanical displacement. Transformed by the measured variable ...

The reason why the temperature sensor could not be calibrated – Turck
Temperature is a commonly used measurement parameter. Temperature sensors are used in instruments that measure temperature. To ensure precision and accuracy, all temperature sensors must be calibrated according to known specifications. However, there will be a variety of problems in the daily calibration process.

Two ways of movement of displacement sensors – Turck
There are two ways to move a displacement sensor, but which two methods are there? We're going to talk about that today. Displacement is a quantity related to the movement of the position of an object in the process of motion, according to the different motion methods, the displacement sensor can be divided into linear displacement sensor and angular displacement transmission ...

Mechanical pressure selective dynamic sensor method – Turck
Select a dynamic pressure sensor to confirm the pressure to be measured, and the dynamic sensor is divided into measuring mechanical pressure and air pressure.
As for mechanical compression, the first thing to consider is whether the pressure is still the tension. If you only measure the pressure, you can choose a power sensor. If the demand measures the tension, then ...

Choose the accelerometer method – Turck
First, understand the digital output part. When purchasing an acceleration sensor, you must understand the digital output, because this determines the interface between the system and the acceleration sensor, if the number is not enough to correspond, it is inconvenient to use, so you must understand the data at the time of selection.

Classification of magnetic sensors – Turck
Any sensor that uses magnetic properties and changes in magnetic flux is called a magnetic sensor. There are two common types of magnetic sensors: piezomagnetic sensors and magnetoelectric sensors. The two types of sensors are quite different in terms of operating principle and range of use.
