3. General calibration
In general, calibration can be done by pressing the "Select Button" and the left and right buttons to increase or decrease the sensitivity setpoint.
4. Position calibration
When the workpiece does not enter the sensitive area, hold down the "SET" button for three seconds, then place the workpiece at a certain distance from the probe and press the "SET" button for three seconds, a sensitive value is memorized, and the sensor produces a level change every time the workpiece reaches this position.
5. Normally open and normally closed setting
Press the switch selection button on the far right side of the sensor to select whether the internal switch is normally closed or normally open.

Banner Sensors – What are the unavoidable errors in pressure sensors?
When choosing a pressure sensor, we need to consider its comprehensive accuracy, and what are the aspects that affect the accuracy of the pressure sensor? In fact, there are many factors that cause sensor error, and we will pay attention to four unavoidable errors, which are the initial error of the sensor.
Head...

Classification of Banner photoelectric sensors and how they work
(1) Fork photoelectric sensor
Placing an optical transmitter and a receiver facing each other on either side of a slot is a fork photoelectric. The luminaire emits infrared or visible light, and the light receiver receives the light in an unobstructed condition. But when the detected object passes through the slot, the light is blocked ...

Banner Sensor - How and how to select a proximity sensor
A proximity sensor is a device with the ability to perceive the proximity of an object, which uses the sensitivity of the displacement sensor to the approaching object to identify the proximity of the object and output the corresponding switching signal. For this reason, proximity sensors are often referred to as proximity switches. It is an alternative to contact detection ...

Banner Sensors – What are the main classifications of displacement sensors?
Depending on the mode of exercise
Linear Position Sensor:
The function of a linear displacement sensor is to convert the linear mechanical displacement into an electrical signal. In order to achieve this effect, the variable resistance slide rail is usually fixed on the fixed part of the sensor, and the displacement of the slide on the slide rail is measured.

How to adjust the photoelectric head offset of the Banner sensor - photoelectric sensor?
The photoelectric head of a photoelectric sensor is a precision device, and misalignment can seriously affect the measurement results. This usually happens when external forces interfere with it, such as when the sensor position is shifted due to excessive force during cable construction. At this point, the position of the photohead needs to be readjusted.
How to adjust: ...
