The TruStability Standard Precision® Silicon Ceramic (SSC) series is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor that provides a proportional analog or digital output for providing pressure readings over a specified full-scale pressure span and temperature range.
The SSC series is capable of performing comprehensive calibration and temperature compensation for sensor zero, sensitivity, temperature coefficient, and nonlinearity using an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) on the board. The calibrated analog and digital output values are updated at a rate of approximately 1 kHz and 2 kHz, respectively.
Calibrate the SSC series in a temperature range of -20°C to 85°C [-4°F to 185°F]. The sensor features a single 3.3 Vdc or 5.0 Vdc operation.
These sensors measure absolute, gauge, or differential pressure. Absolute-pressure sensors use vacuum pressure as an internal reference value, and their output is proportional to the absolute pressure. Gauge pressure sensors use atmospheric pressure as a reference and provide an output value proportional to the difference in atmospheric pressure. A differential pressure sensor measures pressure between two pressure ports.
TruStability® pressure sensors are designed to work with non-corrosive and non-ionic gases, such as air and other dry gases. A wide range of options extend the performance of these sensors to pressures above 40 mbar, 4 kPa, 20 inH2O.
