The limit of the robot's range of motion, which is determined by the software, is called the software limit. The robot is only valid when it enters the range set by the software limit.
The mechanical limit of action is called the mechanical end and is set by the mechanical limiter (mechanical limiter). In order to prevent collision with the mechanical limiter, the software limit is set slightly forward at the end of the machine as shown in the figure below at the factory.
When the robot reaches the software limit during manual operation and automatic action, an error message (see software operation instructions for details) will be displayed and the operation will be stopped.
On all axes, software limits are set on the positive side and the negative side of the operating range. The software limit on the positive side is called the positive software limit; The software limit on the negative side is called the negative software limit.
