With the gradual digitalization, intelligence and green needs of the manufacturing industry, Lenze has been actively responding to the challenges of the ever-changing and upgrading industry and becoming a pioneer in the industry. By once again participating in the 4th VDMA China VDMA Industry 4.0 Flagship Congress of the Germany Engineering Federation, Lenze presented the participants with a comprehensive overview of use cases from core components to automation systems and digitalization. In addition, in response to the theme of the conference, "Digital Twin", Lenze also gave a detailed introduction to the organic combination between product implementation, software platform and cloud application.
First of all, Lenze reviewed the use cases for digitalization based on core components and automation systems presented at the last conference (condition monitoring, easy maintenance, digital twins and FAST software) and made it clear that the key to digitalization together with OEMs and end users as a supplier of components and systems lies in the openness and accessibility of products. At the same time, the in-depth exploitation of the product and the combination of the characteristics of the machine process are the key to the success of Lenze's own digital value.
Subsequently, Lenze gave a detailed presentation and demonstration of practical use cases for digitalization on the user side. With the help of X4's cloud platform, users can log in to view asset management information through computers and mobile phones, and gradually carry out visual machine operation status monitoring and production information management and other work items from the home page of error reports and fault prompts to ensure machine operation.
Extending from the equipment side, Lenze also provides component-level product operation status, product digital nameplate, digital documents and interactive connection query functions such as product drawings, technical manuals, fault maintenance and other interactive connection query functions based on the product's digital asset management shell, so that customers can directly call the key information at the component level from the master control end, and provide a relatively friendly operation interface and a more efficient implementation plan for customers' product use, operation and maintenance and other practical applications.
In addition, Lenze shared internal and external examples based on customer needs and data value realization (warehouse system at the new Lenze plant MCC in Germany and machine operating efficiency OEE and component management AAS for the customer).
In line with the theme of the conference, "Digital Twins", Lenze gave an in-depth look at the implementation of the two interactions between hardware and "digital hardware". For OEMs and end-users of digital solutions, it is key for automation systems and components to provide a good and clear digital asset management shell (AAS) to access the digital platform of machinery and plants, and to maximize the value of digital AAS, it should start from the design and run through the entire product life cycle of product realization and operation and maintenance, while Lenze can provide from the design end to the technical commissioning. A series of software and hardware products and digital platform solutions from the application end to the field management end.
In addition, Lenze believes that the value of data should be the core goal of digital platforms. Based on the current situation of automation products, there are already massive data stored in sensors, drives, and control systems, how to effectively capture data and achieve the ultimate value of the user through appropriate algorithms on the basis of not increasing unnecessary hardware investment, it is necessary to combine professional product knowledge with the customer's process depth, and collaborate to form a closed loop, and Lenze's perfect automation product platform and years of deep knowledge in the field of subdivision can provide customers with comprehensive support and achieve long-term value win-win.
