1. Elastic ball valve (i.e. orbital ball valve)
The elastic ball valve is the orbital ball valve, and its ball is elastic. The ball and the seat seal ring are made of metal materials, and the specific pressure of the seal is very large, and the pressure of the medium itself can not meet the requirements of the seal, so it is necessary to apply external force. This valve is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure media. An elastic sphere is an elastic groove that is made at the lower end of the inner wall of the sphere to obtain elasticity. When the passage is closed, the wedge-shaped head of the stem is used to open the ball and press the seat to achieve a seal. Loosen the wedge head before rolling the ball and the ball returns to its original shape, resulting in a small gap between the ball and the seat, which can reduce friction on the sealing surface and operating torque.
2. Float ball valve
The ball of the float ball valve is floating, and under the effect of medium pressure, the ball can produce a certain displacement and press on the sealing surface of the outlet end to ensure that the outlet end is sealed. The structure of the ball valve is simple and the sealing is good, but the load of the working medium borne by the ball is all transmitted to the outlet sealing ring, so it is necessary to consider whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the ball medium, and the ball may be offset when it is subjected to higher pressure impact. This structure is generally used for medium and low pressure ball valves. Float ball valves are suitable for general industrial applications.
3. Three-way ball valve
Three-way ball valves are available in Type T and Type L. The T-type can make three orthogonal pipes connect with each other and block the third channel, which has the effect of diversion and confluence. The L-shape can only connect two pipes that are orthogonal to each other, and cannot keep the third pipe connected to each other together, and only has a distribution effect.
4. Fixed ball valve
The ball body of the ball valve is fixed and does not move when pressurized. Fixed ball valves are equipped with floating seats, and after being pressured by the medium, the valve seats will move so that the sealing ring is pressed against the ball to ensure sealing. Bearings are usually installed on the upper and lower shafts with the ball, and the operating torque is small, which is suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter valves. In order to reduce the operating torque of the ball valve and increase the reliability of the seal, in recent years, the oil seal ball valve has been presented, that is, the special lubricating oil is injected between the sealing surfaces to form a layer of oil film, which not only enhances the sealing, but also reduces the operating torque, and is more suitable for high-pressure large-diameter ball valves.
5. V-type ball valve
The V-Ball Valve is a fixed ball valve and a single-seat sealed ball valve with the best conditioning performance among ball valves, with equal percentage flow characteristics and an adjustable ratio of 100:1. It has a shear effect between the V-cut and the metal seat, which is particularly suitable for media containing fibers, fine solid particles, slurries, etc.
