The SS30AT/SS40A/SS50AT series sensors are multifunctional, bipolar, Hall-effect sensors. These sensitive magnetic sensors are protected against polarity and provide stable output over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C [-40°F to 257°F]. Any DC supply voltage between 4.5Vdc and 24.0 Vdc can be accepted.
The SS30AT/SS40A/SS50AT series sensors are based on Honeywell's popular magnetic position sensors and offer a variety of benefits. Designed with the latest technology, these sensors provide a reliable, cost-effective solution to meet the motor control and RPM sensing requirements of the commercial, health, and/or residential sectors.
The product is available in three package styles to suit different applications. The SS40A Flat TO-92 style package is available in bulk (1000 multiple pieces per bag) or (ammo pack) fan-like package. The SS30AT is available in an ultra-small SOT-23 surface package and the SS50AT is available in a small SOT-89B surface package, both in bundle or reel styles for use with automated pick-and-place devices.
These surface-mount models can be mounted directly on the electronic profile of a printed circuit board (PCB). Automatic reflow soldering allows these sensors to be attached to the circuit board without the need for holes, thus reducing the cost of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
