Description: E+H/Endershaus Digital dissolved oxygen sensor Memosens COS81D, Memosens COS81D dissolved oxygen sensor is ideal for hygienic applications, such as fermentation processes and inert protection against oxidation processes. The COS81D sensor outputs high-precision measurement results stably for a long time, and is equipped with an uninterrupted self-monitoring function to ensure that the measurement process is always reliable, ensure that the user's product quality is qualified, and achieve yield optimization.

Features:

Hygienic design meets EHEDG and ASME BPE standards, including USP Cl. VI and FDA compliance, avoids cross-contamination, and meets GMP and GLP requirements.

The sensors can be installed in the process and used in fermenters. From the first laboratory trials to series production and laboratory applications, the results are consistent and consistent.

Sensors can be replaced in just a few seconds with maximum process times: Sensors are pre-calibrated in the laboratory and existing sensors can be replaced directly for plug and play. No polarization time is required and it is put into use immediately after installation.

The built-in reference LED light source compensates for the aging of the measured LED light source to ensure that the measured value of the entire production batch is reliable.

Reduced maintenance: Memosens COS81D does not need to be filled with electrolyte and does not require the use of sensitive laminations. Sensor calibration is performed only after the fluorescent cap needs to be replaced.

Important sensor parameters and process data are stored in the Memosens COS81D sensor head. Throughout the sensor's lifetime, the Memobase Plus CYZ71D sensor management software archives all stored parameters, providing fully traceable documentation and minimizing paperwork.

Suitable for CIP/SIP cleaning and autoclaving, hazardous area approved.

Measuring principle

Oxygen-sensitive molecules (markers) are integrated in an optically active layer (fluorescent layer). Liquid wetting on the surface of the fluorescent layer. The sensor optics lie directly below the phosphor layer. The sensor optics emit a green pulse signal to the phosphor layer. The marker body excites crimson fluorescence. The duration and intensity of the response signal directly depend on the oxygen concentration and partial pressure of oxygen.
