Introduction: K5 series PLC is an upgraded product of our company's K3 series, close to market demand, providing richer functions and higher performance, is a cost-effective integrated small programmable controller. High-speed pulse counting
• The CPU module has 2 built-in high-speed counters, with 12 working modes. The input pulse frequency is allowed up to 60KHz for single phase and 20KHz for AB phase. In different working modes, you can use functions such as direction control, start-stop control, reset, setting preset values and counting values.
High-speed pulse output
• The CPU module has two built-in high-speed pulse output channels up to 200KHz, which supports high-speed pulse burst (PTO) or pulse-width modulated signal (PWM) functions. The software provides instructions such as relative motion, absolute motion, return to origin, joging, emergency stop, etc., and can be combined with stepper motors or servo systems to more easily realize positioning control applications.
CAN bus communication function
• In combination with the CAN bus module K541, the CPU module can provide CANOpen master function and CAN free communication function. The CANOpen master is compliant with the standard DS301 protocol and has a communication rate of up to 1Mbps and can support 72 CANOpen slaves with up to 256 TPDOs and 256 RPDOs. The K5 and CD/FD/JD/ED series servos are connected via the CANOpen bus, which is easy to wiring, has high system reliability, and can easily realize multi-axis motion control systems.
Serial communication function
• The CPU module provides 1 RS232 interface and up to 2 RS485 interfaces, and supports Modbus RTU master, slave protocol and free communication. Using the RS485 interface, the K5 can be used as a ModbusRTU slave to connect to touch screens, configuration software or other master devices, and can also be used as a ModbusRTU master to connect to PLC, inverter, instrument, actuator and other slave equipment. Any RS485 interface of the K5 supports up to 32 devices to form a communication network.
Interrupt function
• The K5 provides edge interrupts, free communication interrupts, timing interrupts, high-speed counting interrupts, and more. The user's interrupt program runs in real-time and is not affected by the PLC scan cycle. The DI points I0.0-I0.3 of the CPU body support the edge interrupt function, which can quickly capture the change of the rising and falling edges of external signals. The time base of the two timing interrupts is 0.1ms, which can meet some applications that require precise timing.
Software PID function
• The K5 provides soft PID control in the form of function blocks (internal default), and users can call up to 4 PID function blocks in the program to achieve continuous PID control functions. The PID function block can directly use the AI signal value as the PV value of the PID, and at the same time, it can directly send the output value of the PID to the AO module for output.
Abundant module types
• K5 modules include CPU and expansion modules. In order to meet the application needs of more occasions, the K5 module is available in more than 20 specifications and models. The CPU module body integrates a certain number of I/O points and can be used independently. If the I/O points of the CPU body cannot meet the system requirements, up to 10 expansion modules can be connected through the expansion bus, and the total number of points can reach 200 points, which can be adapted to most small automation applications.
The CPU module integrates DC24V output power supply
• The CPU module provides a DC24V power output (terminal designation VO+, VO-) with a maximum current of 300mA or 500mA. The power supply can be used to power the connected text screen, touch screen, or DI input point.
