Introduction: With a size of 1.5mm X 1.5mm, the YAS532 is the world's smallest three-axis geomagnetic sensor integrated circuit. Generally speaking, sensor integrated circuits are made by packaging a CMOS circuit chip and multiple sensor elements. In this method, it is necessary to connect and assemble the components and chips with wires in the package, which makes it difficult to reduce the size of the geomagnetic sensor integrated circuit. However, using Yamaha's proprietary technology, it is possible to reduce the size of all sensor elements and CMOS circuits by placing all sensor elements and CMOS circuits on the same chip in a single circuit structure. Compared to the YAS530, the YAS532 is 56% smaller in size, has a 150% larger dynamic range, is more accurate, and consumes less energy.
