Omron C series P-type machines have three types: basic, extended, and special-purpose, with a total of 4 types of CPU hosts, 6 types of I/O short-range expansion machines, and a variety of dedicated units.
1. The basic unit (also known as the host) has a CPU
Among them, C stands for the series code; (1) Indicates the total number of input and output points, mainly 20, 28, 40, and 60 points; (2) P represents the pocket ladder programming mode, and PE represents the pocket ladder programming mode; (3) is a type of unit represented by a letter, C represents the basic unit, E represents the expansion unit with input and output points, I represents the expansion unit with input points, O represents the expansion unit with only output points, and TM represents the analog timer unit; (4) It is a letter to indicate the type of input circuit power supply, such as A represents AC 100V, D represents DC 24V power supply; (5) For the type of output with one letter, R represents the relay contact output with a socket, R1 represents the relay contact output without a socket, T represents the transistor output, and S represents the bidirectional thyristor output; (6) In order to use a letter to indicate the type of power supply, A represents 100-240V AC power supply, and D represents DC 24V.
Note that for the number of input points, if it is a DC input type, it is the number of points in the table, and if it is an AC input type, the AC input point is minus 2,. The other 2 points are DC 24V inputs.
2. Expansion I/O unit The expansion unit is divided into I/O expansion unit and a single expansion unit, and the gas model and meaning are as follows:
Among them, C is the series code; (1) Indicates the number of expansion points; (2) where I represents extended input, O represents extended output, and E represents input and output expansion; (3) indicates the input power type or output type, which means that the two letters (2) and (3) combine to represent the full meaning. For example, ID stands for DC expansion, OR stands for relay contact output extension, etc.
There are 6 varieties of I/O expansion units: C4K, C16P, C20P, C28P, C40P, and C60P. For example, the C28P-EDS-A indicates that it is an AC-powered C series P-type expansion unit, with 16 DC 24V input points and 24 bidirectional thyristor output points. C4K-ID indicates an expansion unit with 4 2V input points.
3. Dedicated unit The dedicated unit is used to expand other functions and occupies the I/O address. The dedicated unit includes an analog timing unit, an analog input unit, an output unit and an I/O connection unit.
Omron's small PLCs are generally monolithic. The control system can be flexibly combined with 4 types of CPU units and 6 types of I/O expansion units according to needs, which can meet the needs of the vast majority!
