AirTAC Cylinder Type:
There are two types of cylinders: reciprocating linear motion and reciprocating oscillation. There are four types of reciprocating linear motion cylinders: single-acting cylinders, double-acting cylinders, membrane cylinders and impact cylinders.
Single-acting cylinder: There is a piston rod at only one end, and air pressure is generated from the piston-side air supply, and the air pressure pushes the piston to generate thrust, which returns through a spring or self-weight.
Double-acting: Alternately supplied air from both sides of the piston to output force in one or two directions.
Diaphragm cylinder block: The membrane is used instead of the piston, and the AirTAC cylinder block model only outputs the force in one direction and is returned with a spring. It has good sealing performance, but short strokes.
Impact cylinder: This is a new type of element. It converts the pressure energy of the compressed gas into kinetic energy for the high-speed (10-20 m/s) movement of the piston.
Rodless cylinder: A general term for pistonless rod cylinders. There are two types: magnetic cylinder and cable cylinder.
AirTAC cylinders must be aged after leaving the factory to completely eliminate the internal stress generated by the cylinder during the casting process. If the aging time is short, the machined cylinder will deform in future operation.
In addition to the static load such as the pressure difference between the gas inside and outside the cylinder and the weight of each component installed in it, it can also bear the reaction force on the static blade part when the steam flows out of the static blade, as well as the force on the cylinder in the cold and hot state of various connecting pipes, under the interaction of these forces, the cylinder will be plastically deformed, resulting in leakage.
The load of the AirTAC cylinder increases or decreases too quickly, especially when the start is fast, the temperature changes greatly when the shutdown and working conditions change, the heating cylinder is incorrect, and the insulation layer is opened too early when the machine is stopped for maintenance. , which generates great thermal stress and thermal deformation on the cylinder block and flange.
During machining or after repair welding, the AirTAC cylinder is stressed, but not tempered, resulting in a large residual stress of the cylinder and permanent deformation during operation.
In the process of installation or inspection, due to the inspection technology and inspection technology, the expansion gap of the inner cylinder, cylinder partition plate, partition sleeve and air seal sleeve is not suitable, or the expansion gap of the ear pressure plate is not suitable, and a huge expansion force is generated after operation to deform the cylinder.
The AirTAC cylinder sealant used is of poor quality, has too many impurities, or is of the wrong model. If there are hard impurity particles in the cylinder sealant, the sealing surface.
