The TruStability® DPR series is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor that provides a ratiometric analog output for providing pressure readings over a specified full-scale pressure span and temperature range. These sensors are capable of performing full calibration and temperature compensation for sensor zero, sensitivity, temperature coefficient, and nonlinearity using an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) on the board.
The calibrated pressure output value is updated at a rate of about 1 kHz for simulation. Calibrate the DPR series in a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C [-4°F to 185°F]. The sensor operates from a single 5.0 Vdc supply.
These sensors measure differential or gauge pressure. The rugged enclosure, its industry-standard mounting configurations, and flexible electrical termination options are designed to withstand harsh application environments.
The sensor's internal diagnostics detect most internal faults, including the burst sensor, and reduce the need for redundant sensors in the system. The DPR series is designed to work with non-corrosive and non-ionic gases, such as air and other dry gases.
Custom calibrations, additional pressure ranges, or options are available to extend the performance of these sensors to handle non-corrosive, non-ionic liquids. All products are designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
