As the basic unit of energy storage, lithium batteries have been more and more widely used in major fields such as new energy vehicles, consumer electronics and other fields. During the production of lithium batteries, the cells and shells of the liquid injection process have been dried, which is very sensitive to the moisture in the air in the workshop, once the ambient humidity is too high and the battery humidity is too large, it will cause many problems such as battery bulging shell, affecting thickness, leakage, etc., so effective environmental control in the lithium battery production process is very important.
The Fluke Calibrated 5128A Humidity Generator can be easily carried to the field for multi-point calibration of humidity probes and data loggers. In the lab, the 5128A calibrated probe is 33% faster than the dual-pressure generator. On the job site, unlike the single-point verification of a handheld hygrometer, the 5128A provides thorough and reliable multi-point calibration to support the production of high-efficiency and high-quality lithium battery products. Key features include:
1. Reliable humidity probe calibration ± 1% humidity system accuracy
With an accuracy of ±1.0%RH (7% to 80%RH, 18°C to 28°C), the 5128A humidity system includes all known sources of error for greater confidence in the measurements. At the same time, calibration uncertainty can be further reduced by using an external humidity reference standard, such as a chilled mirror dew point meter.
2. Fast humidity and temperature stabilization time for fast calibration
The materials and airflow used in the 5128A are engineered to ensure short response times to humidity and temperature changes. The typical rate of change of temperature increase is 10 °C/min, and the rate of change of temperature decrease is 1.5 °C/min. The typical rate of change of humidity increase is 10% RH/min, and the rate of change of humidity decrease is 5% RH/min. With the 5128A humidity generator, a 6-point calibration can be achieved in 2 hours.
3. Support on-site, multi-point humidity probe calibration
When environmental conditions change, a single point test can cause false positives. Multi-point calibration with the 5128A provides a more reliable test and provides a true reflection of the actual operation of the humidity probe within its field operating range.
4. The universal design supports various types of checked tables
Accommodating humidity sensors of various sizes, the 5128A measuring chamber is equipped with a 5-port hatch for simultaneous calibration of up to 5 humidity probes, hygrometers and transmitters, and an optional bracket transparent hatch is available. The data logger can be calibrated by placing it on a stand in the measuring chamber. The mixed-flow inserts can be removed to accommodate larger gauges.
5. Compact structure, light weight and easy to carry
The dimensions (height, width, depth) of the 5128A are 237 x 432 x 521 mm and weigh only 15 kg. Easy to place on any bench in the lab or carry to any on-site work site.
