Introduction: Rosemount/Rosemount Level Detector 2140, the new Rosemount ™ 2140 is the world's first wired HART® vibrating tuning fork level detector for applications such as overfill protection, high and low level alarms, and pump protection. The Rosemount 2140 offers exceptional ease of use and flexibility for reliable level detection of all liquids and sediments, continuous monitoring of electronic and mechanical health through intelligent diagnostics, and improved plant and worker safety and efficiency through highly integrated remote verification testing. Rosemount 2140: SIS is IEC 61508 (SIL 2) certified for safety-critical applications.
Features:
Wired HART vibrating tuning fork level detector.
Optimized for dry/wet switching for a wide range of media. Wet sand settings are included to manage tank and separator efficiency.
Even when the characteristics of the medium are unknown, the reliability of the dry/wet switching is guaranteed. This is especially important in small tanks and pipelines, where the liquid level changes dramatically.
Detection may indicate coating or corrosion of the tuning fork, as well as water intrusion.
Large diagnostic coverage for true predictive maintenance.
The kit can be upgraded at any time to avoid future reinvestment.
