Process introduction
In the traditional die-cutting process, because the cutter cannot cut the material completely, the connecting frame will be left, which increases the cost of the material. In addition, the service life of the die-cutting knife is 1 million times, such as long-term continuous operation, it needs to be replaced and maintained in time, and the maintenance and debugging time is also very long.
Therefore, manufacturers are increasingly adopting the laser die-cutting process, which is fast, and can effectively overcome the cycle time limitations of physical cutting according to the laser power and galvanometer accuracy. In addition, special-shaped cutting can be done, saving materials, no service life limit, and also greatly reducing maintenance costs.
Process:
Unwinding → processing of tab → laser die-cutting→ spacer material → thermal composite → thermal composite cutting → lamination.
Among them, the unwinding adopts the swing arm PID unwinding method, and the tension is realized by the proportional valve to control the air pressure. A tension sensor is mounted on the top to control tension fluctuations. The tab processing adopts XY galvanometer control laser cutting tabs. Due to the lack of field of view in the Y direction, the laser die-cutting adopts the Y direction linear motor and the X-direction galvanometer method, and the speed of the two is matched to cut a straight line. After cutting, the pole piece needs to be managed, and a piece is placed every 10mm, and then the clip is controlled by the chasing shear function.

By adjusting the filtering time and measurrev resolution of the FB developed by Omron, the accuracy and update time of the roll diameter calculation can be easily adjusted, making the roll diameter calculation more accurate.
This method of calculating the coil diameter only needs to write the real-time unwinding speed and traction speed to calculate the real-time coil diameter, which can be filtered.
2► Achieve higher shear speed by double clamping
When cutting the pole piece, use the clamp to cut the pole piece when the speed of the left and right clamps is consistent, and then the clamp is lifted to accelerate the blanking, and after the blanking is completed, it is accelerated back to the starting position and waits for the next detection of the tabs.
The synchronization curve is shown in the figure, the speed of the over-acceleration section is consistent with the material, and then the clamp fixes the pole piece, and then releases the acceleration to return.
3► Through the trajectory control of the galvanometer, the high-speed and high-precision cutting is realized
Through the program setting, the laser is made to type out a 5*5 point table, and the XY coordinates of each point from the center point are measured by the two-dimensional element, and then the distortion characteristics of the galvanometer are solved by calculating the compensation value and generating the compensation table.
The trajectories of each section of the process requirements are written in the motion program, and the motor follows and time-base control functions are used to correlate with the external encoder signal, so that the galvanometer movement and the movement and stop of the equipment strip can be synchronized.
For products with the same cutting shape but different size requirements, the PDK software can be installed directly through EtherNet/IP or the host computer to communicate with the controller, and the transmission track size can be quickly changed.

The unwinding PID is a percentage of the unwinding standard speed.
