Fluke Norma Power Analyzers: Reliable, high-accuracy measurement tools for power electronics test and development
The compact Fluke Norma family of power detection analyzers/power meters offers new measurement technologies to help engineers involved in the development and testing of motors, inverters, lighting, power supplies, transformers, and automotive parts to make their products more productive.
The Fluke Norma series of power detection analyzers/power meters feature a high-bandwidth architecture that accurately measures single- or three-phase currents and voltages, harmonic analysis, fast Fourier transform (FFT) analysis, and calculates power and other calculated values.
This power detector/power meter family includes the Fluke Norma 4000 three-phase energy analyzer and the Fluke Norma 5000 six-phase power detection analyzer/power meter. These rugged, high-precision power analyzers/power meters offer a good price/performance ratio and are convenient and reliable for use in the field or as a benchtop instrument in the lab or test bench.

Electric Motor and Inverter Drive System Power Sensing Analysis – Power meters accurately measure inverter-induced switching losses through exhaustive spectrum analysis and dynamic torque calculations, as well as comprehensive evaluation of torque transients and harmonics at high frequencies.
Inverter Drive System Power Sensing Analysis – Power meters measure all electrical and mechanical power parameters simultaneously within the same event window, enabling users to observe the impact of one component on another, or on the entire system.
Lighting System Power Detection Analysis - The power meter has a bandwidth of up to 10 MHz and a high sampling rate of up to 1 MHz for detailed analysis of the rectifier output signal. Shunt technology enables power sensing at very high frequencies. At the same time, the ability to measure input and output power provides rectifier loss calculation capabilities.
Transformer Power Detection Analysis – The power meter measures 6-phase power simultaneously, even at very small power factors, to calculate the efficiency and loss of high-power transformers with high accuracy, and also to simultaneously measure the resistance of multi-phase transformer coils.
Automotive Power Sensing Analytics – Power meters measure electrical inputs and mechanical outputs simultaneously, providing data on the efficiency and losses of individual parts as well as the entire drive system.
