Description: PNOZ s60 is an upgrade from the original PNOZ X series PU3Z for safe monitoring of single-phase or three-phase power supplies with neutral conductors. The product measures three-phase voltages and only activates safety circuits when values fall below a threshold. If the machine remains energized after a shutdown due to a mechanical failure, such as contact welding on the main switch, PNOZ s60 reliably prevents access to the machine. By monitoring the safe voltage-free state, it is also possible to ensure that the maintenance work of the plant and machinery is carried out safely.

PNOZ s60 can be used as a core component of the Safety Locking System (SLS) and, together with a small controller (e.g. PNOZmulti), ensures safe access to plant and machinery (which can be safely de-energized). The PNOZ s60 safety voltage monitor meets the requirements of UL 6420 for the implementation of SLS applications, and the use of this device simplifies the lockout-on-lock (LoTo) requirements applicable to the United States market. In order to meet the requirements of individual industries, the PNOZ s60 voltage monitor has two adjustable thresholds, which are 12 V or 6 V, which are common in the food and beverage industry.
