The SP5000 series is equipped with two Ethernet interfaces, so network segmentation can be easily carried out, and each port is assigned a different IP address to improve network security. For example, the SP5000 series connects the enterprise office network and the factory production network, and can handle the large amount of data generated by the high-speed control equipment in the production site and the large amount of data generated by the production control end in the office at the same time.
Network modularity
The previous Pro-face HMI could only be set with 1 IP address, and the device manufacturer would spend a lot of time changing the IP address of all devices at the time of delivery. However, since the SP5000 series can be set with two IP addresses, it is only necessary to change one IP address in the SP5000 series without changing the IP addresses of all devices, saving time.
