Smart cameras are easy to handle and open up a wide range of applications for processing images according to specific needs. It allows you to transfer data directly to the controller. Intelligent analysis algorithms output results in a definable format via the process interface. You can store the test report for verification along with the relevant images. In order to provide our customers with the perfect product for their application, we offer two different versions, the BVS HS-Q series (left image below) and the BVS HS-P Series (right image below).
The BVS HS-Q is an excellent price/performance ratio and reads all commonly used 1D, stacked, 2D and postal codes quickly and reliably at all angles and with jitter. This series is suitable for reading encodings on documents, encoding labels, screens, and background faces with less reflections.
With a maximum reading distance of 40 cm, the BVS HS-Q is designed for easy use by the operator and confirms the success of the reading with a chime and display. They are also available in a wireless version, with the scanner being able to read up to 25 m from the base. With a built-in USB or RS232 interface, 1.5 m drop protection and IP 42 protection, it is safe to use every day. The product quality is light (200g), which is in line with human habits.
Thanks to its ability to read laser/dot codes, the BVS HS-Q is also suitable for production-related applications. In addition, the product can be tracked and traced by reading the code of the direct marking.
The BVS HS-P is suitable for harsh environments and reads all commonly used 1D, stacked and 2D codes quickly and reliably.
The high-precision (HD) version reliably reads high-resolution codes (1D 2.5 mil resolution) as well as large area codes (up to A4 size). The version of the component direct callout code (DP) reads the most commonly used codes. Like the BVS HS-Q, BVS HS-P is easy to operate and can be read visually and audibly.
In addition, Balluff has a wireless version that can be read up to 100 m from the base. Use an external Bluetooth interface for integration. The BVS HS-P can also be used in harsh environments, as it is robust and reliable thanks to its IP 65 degree of protection and drop protection of up to 2.0 m.
