Product Description

Description: The IFM/ifm MVQ201 valve sensor is connected directly to the control valve and is directly connected to the control valve with a separate M12 connection, which can be easily controlled via IO-Link. The lack of cables simplifies installation and reduces the likelihood of data transmission failures. In addition, other information, such as changes in valve closure and opening duration due to deposition or wear, can be provided via IO-Link and further processed in the SMART OBSERVER or controller. This enables condition-based maintenance, cleaning equipment, and preventing costly unplanned downtime.

The MVQ201 continuously monitors the position of the valve accurately. With the "Auto-teach" function, the end position can be automatically approached and taught. The control valve can be easily connected via a separate M12 connection and controlled via IO-Link. This reduces wiring and installation complexity and reduces possible sources of error.

User-friendly status query with timely maintenance information

The defined valve position is indicated by means of a 2-way switch output as well as a clearly visible status LED. The sensor can also detect changes in the shut-off duration to identify problems such as wear, deposits or blockages caused by foreign matter and indicate them via IO-Link. This enables on-demand maintenance planning and immediate troubleshooting, helping to avoid costly and lengthy downtime. To simplify positioning, selected units can flash green in flashing mode.
