Description: ifm's new AS-i fiber optic repeater enables AS-i interface signals to be transmitted via optical media and vice versa. This makes it possible to significantly extend the cable length in the AS-i network. Each AS-i fiber optic repeater has two independent channels, including a transmission channel and a receive channel, both powered by the AS-i system. A number of LEDs in different colors show the current operating status. This innovative design is integrated into the new SmartLine housing.
