As early as 2011, following the principle of adapting measures to local conditions, Chint cooperated with Elion Group in Kubuqi, Inner Mongolia to develop and build a 310MW sand-light complementary project, with an annual power generation capacity of 500 million kWh and a sand control area of more than 20,000 mu, which is a model project of photovoltaic sand control, realizing the synergy and win-win of the three benefits of sand control, ecology and poverty alleviation, and has been recognized by the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
In 2019, Chint and Inner Mongolia Xing'an Thermal Power Plant made in-depth cooperation on the smart energy project of electric heat storage peak shaving, deepening cooperation in the green development of energy projects and smart energy applications, and seeking common development. In terms of comprehensive energy development and utilization, CHINT and Wuchuan County, Hohhot City have signed an investment intention agreement on the 200MW wind-solar-storage + ecological governance energy demonstration project......
Having been deeply cultivating the Inner Mongolia market for many years, CHINT has fully interacted with enterprises in the autonomous region and joined forces. In November 2017, CHINT signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Inner Mongolia Electric Power Group. The two sides have actively promoted the implementation of strategic cooperation and achieved good results. At present, CHINT continues to help the development of Inner Mongolia Power Group in the provision of smart grid-related products, systems and solutions. Among them, the high-voltage transformers, substation GIS equipment, and small equipment such as switchgear and capacitors provided by CHINT have a high share in its equipment supply.
