To meet this demand, SchneiderElectric is constantly expanding its range of TeSys block contactors for AC3 loads. SchneiderElectric's TeSysF contactors combine a long mechanical and electrical life and are highly stable contactors. The LC1F series is designed to be integrated into a control system for motor control or resistive load applications. TeSysF contactors offer quick and easy set-up while complying with international standards.

What does the use of categories AC1 and AC3 mean for TeSys contactors?
Contactor usage categories define current on and off values based on the type of load and duty cycle conditions to be controlled. AC-1: This category applies to all AC devices with a power factor of at least 0.95. Examples of use: resistive loads, heating, distribution. AC-3: This category applies to squirrel cage motors where a power outage occurs while the motor is running. Examples of use: All squirrel cage motors, elevators, escalators, conveyors, bucket elevators, compressors, pumps, mixers, air conditioning units.
Simplified design, installation, and maintenance
With its flexible design and wide range of compatible components, the TeSysF series is able to meet a wide range of design requirements. Additional contacts are provided with a wide range of assistive devices when needed, and the coil is mounted in a drawer for easy maintenance and reduces downtime.
