Braking energy is captured and utilized through all compatible drive modules
The compact ACS880-14 captures and utilizes braking energy, resulting in cost savings for the user. With regeneration, the motor's braking energy is returned to the drive and distributed forward to the power supply network for use by other devices. Mechanical or resistive braking energy is wasted as heat, often requiring additional cooling. Compared to other braking methods, the ACS880-14 offers more energy savings and a simplified and cost-effective installation.
Equipped with an active power supply unit and an integrated low-harmonic line filter, the regenerative driver produces extremely low harmonic content.
These modules are designed for machine builders and system integrators. You can incorporate flexibility, simplicity into your own cabinets. They are made into bookshelves and flat variants that can be easily pushed inside the cabinet using a base on wheels.
